Cincinnati Bell

Scene:

Cincinnati Bell, the leading telecommunications provider throughout the Greater Cincinnati area continues to look for strategies to further penetrate the local Cincinnati market and the campus of the University of Cincinnati.

Challenge:

Offering a new service and opening a new retail location, Cincinnati Bell needed to increase awareness among incoming students of the wide array of products and services they offer, including the UC wireless plan.

Solution:

FMG developed a plan to expose Cincinnati Bell to returning & incoming students and the local community via a multi-medium mix encompassing an event-driven marketing, sponsorship, print, and grassroots promotions.

Results:

Exposure to more than twenty thousand people throughout greater Cincinnati and on the campus of UC.

University of Cincinnati, Bearcast Radio

Scene:

Bearcast Radio, the official radio station of the University of Cincinnati was looking welcome students back with a big bang for the 2008 school year and cement themselves as the local organization that knows what’s up.

Challenge:

Low awareness throughout the students and even lower throughout the local community and music scenes. They were also not known for offering large-scale live entertainment events.

Solution:

FMG concepted, coordinated, and executed Launch Music Festival- a defining event for the Universiity on the first day of classes for the fall quarter.

Results:

More than five thousand students and local music lovers attended the event throughout the day giving large awareness to Bearcast and the assortment of local sponsors.
